Pakistan gives ‘Tiger’ a miss

After coming back and forth on the decision for the longest time now, Pakistan has finally decided to not release highly awaited Salman Khan Film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ in their country. The film which revolves around the love story of two spy agents of two warring nations played by Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan was their cause of concern as the officials at the censor board there felt that the film taints the image of Pakistani intelligence agency ‘ISI’. Nonetheless it was assured by the officials that the team will yet gain revive their decision and might release the film in Pakistan where there is huge Salman Khan fan following. However now that the film has released all over, we hear that it will not release in Pakistan though the reason behind this has not been revealed yet.

Back home, the film has got the bumper opening as we hear that the film which opened to packed houses on the release day garnered whopping Rs. 33 crore on its very first day. With this it has beaten ‘Agneepath’ which till date held the record of being the biggest opener of Bollywood. But now that position is enjoyed by Salman starrer ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Power to you Salman.
