Madhur Bhandarkar’s much anticipated Kareena Kapoor starrer “Heroine” created quite a stir ever since the first look of the film was released. It has been appreciated by all & has fans looking forward to the release of the film. However, the film has now run into the “Dubai” trouble. And the reason is one of the dialogues from the film.

The dialogue in question is “Heroine ne gaadi lee to businessman ne gift kiya… Aur God forbid Dubai chali gayi, toh uska rate card ban jaata hai…”, which is said by Kareena’s character in the film. And reportedly, it has not gone down well with the folks in the UAE. The media in the Emirates has accused Bhandarkar of ‘ignorance’ which has resulted in the makers deciding to change the controversial dialogue by either muting or dubbing the word “Dubai” by some other suitable alternative.

Well, isn’t it interesting that even after years of playing it ‘clean’, the Indian film industry is still haunted by the “Dubai” connection?
