She started off with an unconventional role as a antagonist in the film ‘Ajnabee’ and went on to do odd films like ‘Raaz’ and ‘Jism’, genres which were not looked up as conventional for any newcomer. But Bipasha being the trendsetter never feared experimentation and wisely chose amongst the offers. After surviving in the industry for 12 long years, the success of her latest film ‘Raaz 3’ has life coming as a full circle to her.

It was the original ‘Raaz’ that had got her the recognition and now that she was suffering a setback in her career after two back to back flops [Players and Jodi Breakers] in recent times, the success of ‘Raaz 3’ meant a lot to her. And hence she recently confessed that she felt relieved after ‘Raaz 3’ clicked with the audience, “I never belonged to any camp nor worked upon contacts in the 12 years of my acting career. So it is a big achievement that a film that was completely resting on my shoulders has managed to rake in 40 crore in its first week,” said Bipasha at a recent event.

She also accredited Vidya Balan for kick starting the trend of women oriented films.
