Akki left in ‘Joker’ dilemma

It’s a solo show for Akshay in his next 682x1024

Nothing it seems to have worked out in favor of the film ‘Joker’ that tanked terribly at box office after its release. Starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead, the film was made by Shirish Kunder. But despite of such big names being associated with the film it got the lowest opening for any mega starrer film. The possibilities of the film picking up business dampened when the poor critical reviews and negative word of mouth spread like fire. And now the further trouble for the team is the fact that the distributors of the film are demanding compensation from film’s lead Akshay Kumar who had also co-produced the venture.

They are blaming Akshay for the heavy losses merely for the fact that he had disassociated from the film and had refrained from promoting it. They claim that had he promoted the film, his fans would have had at least come to theatres which should’ve have had left scope for the film to score. And now that it hasn’t happened they’ve asked Akshay and UTV to compensate for their losses.
